Easter Bird

I made this Easter card at stamp camp. It wasn't meant to be an Easter card, but that's what I wanted/needed, (and Susan had an Easter stamp in the 'greetings' box). I thought this was a fun little bird with the whimsical squares down the side. All Stampin' Up product.

Birthday Card

Hello Everyone!
With this gorgeous weather we have been having here, I haven't been blogging as much as usual.  This card is from February stamp camp. It is all Stampin' Up. Black and white and grey, for a man or woman. Why can't a guy enjoy flowers? We get to stereotypical about things when making cards, I think. Well I tend to, anyway.

Woods Ware Creamer and Sugar Bowl

 I don't know if this is a 'collector' set or not, but it was one of my grandmother's treasures. That's part of why I love it. I also love the smooth feel of it, the blue & white color and the scenes it depicts. Here it is holding my sugar and instant Christmas coffee packets.

This set sits next to my coffee maker so I see and use it everyday. Memories of my grandma. . . . .

A Little St. Patrick's Day Vignette

 We are not Irish so I have no St. Patrick's Day Decorations! I wanted to put a little something together, and this is what I came up with.... A beautiful doily in white with a bit of green that I found in a box of linens from both of my grandmothers....a white plate with hand painted clovers, in a box of dishes from both grandmothers....3 of the 4 ice cream glasses that I bought long ago, because our kitchen used to be light green....a bunch of silk daffodils that I've had forever....and I put together a page using brushed gold card stock, green card stock and a printable from Krista at While He was Napping.

I took the lazy way out, not a ton of thought or work. Oh well, it's a little festive, anyway!!! **grin**

Stampin' Up Birthday Flowers

Embossed Blue

I found pieces of this card the other day. We made it at stamp camp a few months back and I never finished it. The blue leaf stamp is heat embossed and the brown branches behind are stamped 3 times without re-inking. We were at Susan's, but I have no idea what her example card looked like. Probably like this. Everything is Stampin' Up.

Top Five Friday

It's Top Five Friday!!!
Yes, something new here at Creative Paper My Way. I decided that I should do something with the Pinterest habit I've developed. I have always loved pictures in magazines and in print of every kind. Guess what happened when I found Pinterest? That's right, I fell in love with all of the fabulous pictures. I tried to keep my number of boards to a minimum, but what the heck?! I have so many ways to do Top Five's using my various boards. I did a Pink post on Sunday, which had me thinking. Why not do this once a week? Top Five Friday sounded good, so there you have it. Here are my top five favorite, in no particular order, Blue & Green tea cups that I pinned at Pinterest.....

You may be saying to yourself: "4 of the 5 are blue, where's the green"? My Board is called Blue & Green, and there is a mix of, well, blues and greens, solids and not.
