Hand Loom Weaving

Weaving using a small loom:

I was looking for my loom and when I dug it out, along with my tools I found this; my first hand woven sampler. I took a fiber arts class in college and it was quite fun. This was our first project, hand loom weaving.

There are no mistakes, only different techniques and trials. My tension tended to pull in as I worked downwards, and varied with different fibers. Not bad for the first try though.

Pictures are in order from the top to the bottom of the weaving.
Two rows of texture, or raised work are shown here on the right.

All three of the most textured, or raised work are shown here, at left.

I like the top blue and white area with the wrap best. The green and brown area, at the bottom right, isn't as pretty.

thanks for the visit, please let me know what you think
