Still Here!

Hello People! Have you missed me? I've been trying to keep up with your blogs, but not feeling crafty or creative myself. I have a few things to photograph but haven't, and a few projects to finish but I will. Today I wanted to share some photos of my dear daughter, her wonderful boyfriend, and their friends. It was PROM last Saturday.  Several of these boys just, and I mean, just, made it for these pics, (daughter's boyfriend being one). They played a triple header baseball game tournament out of town!!! Who was in charge of scheduling???
This is our darling daughter and her darling boyfriend
Again
Our daughter and our other daughter, her best friend
Our girls and 7 of the bff boys
Most of the the group

The boys are all seniors, long time friends, and team mates, (soccer of course). A few girls are missing as they were still playing softball at that same out of town tournament. The girls here are all soccer team mates.

The Girls

Hope you enjoyed the pictures, here is one more I just have to post....
(((they are starving and this was the last photo before they left for dinner)))

Thanks for visiting!

Hand Made Sympathy

We always need to have a Sympathy card on hand, now I have two. Everything I used on this card is Stampin' Up. This is a good one for out of town friends, it says "Sending Love and Sympathy", for the time that you just can't be there. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment.

A Little 3 R project

You know....Recycle, Reuse, Re-purpose....yea me!

I received this perfect box in the mail, it held my Jenni Bowlin Studio club package, it's sized for 12" x 12" sheets.
Perfect for flat storage of my 12" x 12' designer and specialty papers/card stock. I decided to use some scraps and cover just the ends that would show while on my shelves.
The solid color is Stampin' Up card stock, and the patterned paper is SU! designer paper. The letters are 'Thickers' stickers. I ran out of 's' so I had to make my SU! from another letter. I don't remember which one now.
Make sure to carefully open your boxes if you want to try this re-cycle. Only rip one of the sides open, as above.  Actually I guess you could also re-tape one side. **forehead slap**
Here you can see that the opened box is pulled 'out' and the lid pulled out/flipped down, revealing the content. This is a great way to keep dust and sun from the papers and keeps the shelves a little tidier. I would show more of the shelves, but they are quite the mess right now. I'll take pictures when they are reorganized.

Thanks so much for the visit, hope I inspired you!

Pink, Burgundy, Espresso and Ivory

It is a bit hard to see that the base of this card is pink and that the light colored ribbon is pink, but it is, honest! I love the bird, bee, and cage stamp on this simple card. The number stamp is from another stamp set, but it fit right in with the feel of this one. The Stampin' Up colors I've used are in the title. Thanks for visiting!

Treat Yourself

I love how this card came out, my creation based on Susan's card from our March stamping get together. One of the flowers is fussy cut, for a little dimension. The bottom half is stamped and then dry embossed. The flowers are all stamped with Not Quite Navy ink, only stamped several times without re-inking. The band is actually ribbon. That's about it for now, thanks so much for visiting!

Tulips

Here are a few pictures of our tulips. We were going to have a frost, so I cut the tulips that were in bloom. They looked and smelled great in the living room.

Hope you enjoyed the Tulips today, we certainly are here. Happy Easter and have a fabulous week! Thanks for the visit.
