Friday Card & A Reminder

Nothing super exciting today, just a card. I love these Stampin' Up stamps, so natural. I think I left this card just the way my friend, Susan designed it. Love the design, but I do know my grass is darker. I didn't stamp off, but I think it looks good like this anyway.

Simple Little ATC

Here is a super simple "Nell" ATC, using Old Olive and Not Quite Navy card stock. She is colored with water color pencils and Goo Gone, fussy cut and mounted to the dry embossed NQN. She was an extra, leftover print and the card stock was scrap. Using up the leftovers,  that is what is fun about making, trading, and collecting ATC's. SAVE the Trees, the planet, money, and less for the landfills.

Here's a front door decoration I made last week. Each circle is made using Stampin' Up designer paper. It's an old pattern, but perfectly summertime bright.

The star and circle centers are made using SU punches, and the circles punched around the largest circle are made using the Crop-a-dile because it was such a thick amount to punch through.

I was going to post a tutorial but I did so many trial and error pieces that I gave up on that! *smile* Below are links to where I researched:

You could even have your kiddos help out with this one, it's a "fan" fold! Tweens and teens would probably have fun with it & could do it on their own.

Cherish the Birdie

I made this simple little ATC a few weeks ago. I've been trying to use some of the things that are in my 'use later' box. You know that box or folder that has the things that were never finished, or didn't quite fit on your project, or you just plain didn't like at the time. The dotted dp with the stamped bird and word was in that box. It was about the size of an ATC so I popped a flower on it and mounted it on blue card stock. Thanks for stopping by! Still Here!

Hello People! Have you missed me? I've been trying to keep up with your blogs, but not feeling crafty or creative myself. I have a few things to photograph but haven't, and a few projects to finish but I will. Today I wanted to share some photos of my dear daughter, her wonderful boyfriend, and their friends. It was PROM last Saturday.  Several of these boys just, and I mean, just, made it for these pics, (daughter's boyfriend being one). They played a triple header baseball game tournament out of town!!! Who was in charge of scheduling???

The boys are all seniors, long time friends, and team mates, (soccer of course). A few girls are missing as they were still playing softball at that same out of town tournament. The girls here are all soccer team mates.

Hand Made Sympathy

We always need to have a Sympathy card on hand, now I have two. Everything I used on this card is Stampin' Up. This is a good one for out of town friends, it says "Sending Love and Sympathy", for the time that you just can't be there. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment.
